Episode 313: "Souviner (Again and Again and Again)"
Monday May 27, 2019
Monday May 27, 2019
Welcome back 2Leg faithfuls to an actual Paul McCartney round table discussion this time 'round again.
Let's keep the synopsis short and sweet:
1. 2Leg-Dave discusses his Denny Laine concert experience from the Motor City at Ferndale's Magic Bag on May 9th 2019.
2. 2Leg-Tom discusses his massive love affair with Egypt Station and the suitcase of fun trinkets to keep him entertained for a lifetime until the next Egypt Station edition comes out - wait...it did. He bought it as well. Listen to the very cynical 2Leg-Dave give his two cents on the ride he is not willing to take anymore.
3. The 2Leg team gives estimations on when the next round of straight-up reissues comes out (we recorded this show just mere days before the official announcement for all the releases to go sale on July 12th 2019. We will touch upon this news in the next episode)

Episode 312: "Bands on the Run"
Thursday May 02, 2019
Thursday May 02, 2019
Do not adjust your dial - the 2Legs team thought it was a good time to branch out from the Paul McCartney world and give you our other personal favorite bands of the '60s/'70s/&80's. This is pretty much how we communicate any time we are not discussing Paul McCartney and the Beatle-related universe of news.
However, so aptly fitting, we first discuss some recent non Paul McCartney related (OR IS IT?!) news; the recent announcement of the re-issue of the McGear album due out end of June. Find out how we first discovered the news and the special goodie that we will be both receiving from the order.
Take a trip of a lifetime - our first non-Paul McCartney show.......

Episode 311: “Red Rose Speedway - Archive Deluxe Box Set Review”
Tuesday Apr 16, 2019
Tuesday Apr 16, 2019
Dearly beloved followers - 2Legs would like to welcome you back to another chat of all things McCartney. Tom and Dave kick things off in a joyful mood with their Record Store Day 2019 Experiences as well as looking back on how it started for them (coincidentally it began the same year).
Just as we previously discussed the Archive Deluxe Box Set Review of Wings' Wild Life from Episode 9 of season 3 - the team is back to talk about the 2018 co-release; The Deluxe Edition of the Wings' Red Rose Speedway (the 12th edition set of the on-going Archive Series). In the same sort of style as the last set, Tom and Dave do their best to give the listener their impressions of presentation, content, value, as well as some overall critiques.
Hard to believe it took 9 years to have this particular set released but it finally arrived and we believe its one of the best Archive Sets Released. Tom and Dave are pretty much on the same page for this box set and in general of the series (which is entering its 10th calendar year).

Also, catch 2Leg Tom on another wonderful show called Talk More Talk: A Beatles Solo Videocast. (just google the title of the show and you'll see their social media presence on the various streaming outlets)
Tom's dream came true working with a fantastic team we have admired for so long and you actually get to see his mug on all episodes. Good luck trying to get 2Leg Dave to do that - sorry folks that's never happening. He'll just stay behind the curtain and do his best producing the 2Legs shows.

Episode 310: "3 Legs"
Thursday Mar 28, 2019
Thursday Mar 28, 2019
Welcome back faithful listeners to another exciting 2Legs round table show. For this special episode, Tom and David are joined by Sam Whiles; host of the "Paul or Nothing" podcast. We were delightfully impressed with this fine chap from the other side of the Atlantic. This cross over episode of sorts lends its self to a 3Legs kind of show - where the gang ranks Paul's #1 hits [Combined US/UK of 11 songs; not too shabby!]
Make sure to check out Sam's wildly fantastic McCartney Podcast show "Paul or Nothing": https://mccartneypod.podbean.com/ + https://paulmccartneypod.wordpress.com/
Once again - Thank You Sam for taking the time (and an especially late night or early morning call-in to our show). We hope to cross paths with you in the not too distant future!

Episode 309: "Wild Life - Archive Deluxe Box Set Review"
Monday Mar 04, 2019
Monday Mar 04, 2019
2Legs would like to welcome their faithful listeners back to another splendid episode of love, laughter, cousin(ly) hi-jinks, and all things McCartney. Tom and Dave stir up things right away on how they personally feel about the Egypt Station Travelers Edition set; one of the few things they don't necessarily see eye to eye on. However, they cover equal ground on the pro's and con's of such a set. Episode 309 also touches upon Things They Bought Today as well as Things They Saw Today during their time since the last episode.
Let's get to the heart of the matter for this show; The Deluxe Edition of Wings' Wild Life (the 11th edition set of the on-going Archive Series). This set may have caught the general public by surprise on being even considered for the Archive Series but after 9 years it makes its rightful place amongst the rest of his celebrated albums. The 2Legs team does their best to give the listener their impressions of presentation, content, value, as well as some critiques on this freshly released set from Dec 2018. Tom and Dave are pretty much on the same page for this box set and in general of the series (which is entering its 10th calendar year). 2Legs actually has an episode that graces just the one hour mark - so we hope not to bore you too long. We'll make up for it in the following shows.

Episode 308 "The Art Of McCartney"
Monday Feb 04, 2019
Monday Feb 04, 2019
Ever wonder why Paul McCartney was sitting with his Ovation Acoustic guitar while the other members of Wings were rocking out on the inner gatefold sleeve of Wings Over America? Did you ever take close note on why the hands of Michael Jackson seems slightly off on the cover of the SAY SAY SAY 1983 45 single sleeve? Was that Temporary Secretary 45 single sleeve leading to any curiosity? Who the hell was Sni Muk Fej on the corner of This One's single sleeve? Jeff Cummins' (try to spell his name backwards folks) art has created those head scratching questions and the 2Legs team are determined to get to the bottom of this conundrum even if it takes us two plus hours to get them answered.
From an artistic career that has spanned across decades covering (pun intended) the following: Jon Anderson, Rick Wakeman, Ted Nugnet, Alan White, Keith Emerson, Whitesnake, The Moody Blues, Eric Clapton, and Paul McCartney [PLUS MANY MORE] - Jeff's resume of over 45 years is one to be extremely proud of since he has contributed to some of the most iconic album art ever released.
Jeff takes Dave and Tom on a journey to tell the stories behind some of these releases. Revelations have been unearth on the never spoken truth behind the original concept of the 45 sleeve of Ebony and Ivory being eventually re-configured for SAY SAY SAY. 2Legs re-confirms, with the help of Jeff, the rumors of the re-issue of the Wings Over America LP coming later this year.
AS AN ADDED BONUS: Jeff was obviously enjoying our company and kept telling some more great stories. A bonus feature will be available after the main 2 hr segment.
You can check out Jeff's incredible portfolio of work at: http://jeffcummins.wixsite.com/jeff/copy-of-about
Stay tuned for Episode 309: 2Legs review of the 2018 Wild Life Archive Box Set toward the end of February.

Episode 307 "Get Enough"
Wednesday Jan 30, 2019
Wednesday Jan 30, 2019
At the stroke of Midnight (Eastern Standard Timezone) on New Years Day Paul McCartney dropped the new song "Get Enough." This was the third and final Ryan Tedder production. Since it was not released on his latest LP this could very well be a preview to one of the tracks that may eventually be on the "Egypt Station" deluxe box set come May/June time frame. This song has had quite the reaction as many McCartney fans question his latest experimental exploration into the world of 2018 contemporary.
Tom Hunyady and David Gargalino tackle the new track and discuss how this lines up with his career choices of reaching into the flavor of the current era to try as his own. Many times throughout McCartney's career he has worked with the "Current" or 'It" producers/artists to incorporate the current sound into his songs. "Egypt Station" was no exception to his desire to strike it hot with the latest sounds and producers. We also talk about our favorite experimental tracks from his almost 50 year post-Beatles career as to bring it full circle of understanding what an artist Paul McCartney really is.

Episode 306: "NEW"
Monday Dec 31, 2018
Monday Dec 31, 2018
2Legs would like to send out their massive gratitude to everyone whom has followed the show in seasons 2 & 3 in 2018! We are ALWAYS indebted to all of our guests whom have taken their time away from their respective projects to sit down with us for a couple of hours.
This past year probably has been the busiest we've seen in Paul McCartney activity at least since we started this podcast. There was a lot to reflect on. We are still digesting everything that has been released in the McCartney camp. There was a little less bickering in 2018 than 2017 but certain things still kicked up the collective public debate. How many people can you say at the young age of 76 are still relevant in today's ever changing world.
We have been blessed to have received a new Paul McCartney album, the never-ending gigs, as well as the 11th and 12th Archive releases. Let's reminisce no longer on print and let's take a journey to our minds in audio form on what may become the busiest/most exciting year in the McCartney world in ages.
Thank you for a great 2018 and we expect 2019 to be just as great!
[Editor Note: Tom send his apologies for a couple of events that happened in March but were referenced to February]

In 1988, Paul McCartney was asked to write a piece to commemorate The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra's 150th Anniversary. Composed with the help of Carl Davis, the eight movement Oratorio premiered in June of 1991. In the audience that evening was Allan Kozinn; whom was the classical arts writer for the New York Times.
