"Home, Family, Love." This is how Paul McCartney described his debut solo album back in April of 1970! Hi Hi Hi all, 2Legs is back with our look into Paul McCartney's landmark album 'McCartney!' After John Lennon's "divorce" announcement on Sept 20th 1969, Paul found himself depressed, drunk and nearly having a nervous breakdown! With the help from his wife Linda, Paul was able to recoup and begin work on what would become one of the most successful solo careers in music history!

In October 2000 a text titled "Eight Arms to Hold You: The Solo Beatles Compendium" was published and quickly became what would be considered the "Holy Grail" of solo Beatles books! It is the gold standard of research, thoroughness the likes of few Beatles related texts have rarely achieved.

Surprised by this request George was hesitant at first but after some persuasion and some heavy thought Martin agreed! And the rest as they say is history!2Legs welcomes back Dr. Kenneth Womack (Monmouth University) (author of the two part George Martin bio Maximum Volume and Sound Pictures) to look into the history and working relationship between Paul McCartney and George Martin from the 1980's!

A single from the LP was planned but scrapped at the last minute. with the addition of Henry McCullough in January Wings release three non album singles ('Give Ireland Back to the Irish', 'Mary Had A Little Lamb', and 'Hi,Hi, Hi') throughout 1972! The 2Legs crew welcomes Darren DeVivo (of Fordham Radio WFUV 90.7 and a contributor on the "Things We Said Today" podcast) to discuss these three singles and more!

In 1974 Paul began work on what would become a 'on again off again on again' project known as 'Cold Cuts'! Unfortunately the project never flourished and the songs that would have been on the release started showing up on b-sides starting in the 80's! On this episode of 2Legs we are joined by author Robert Rodriguez (Fab Four FAQ and Solo in the 70's) and host of 'Something About The Beatles'! Robert joins Tom and Andy to discus the history of 'Cold Cuts' as well as starting the 'FAQ' series, 'Something About The Beatles, and his thoughts on the upcoming "Let it Be" release and how he'd like to see it treated!
