After a little break Tom & Andy are back for an easy fun one. This week we pick one track from each canon Macca album that we feel is underrated. We also discuss songs that were once criticized but now are appreciated. Tom and Andy also discuss whether they think Paul will tour again or not. We had differing views on this. Episode 138: McCartney III Imagined Review/August News

Tom and Andy finally address and review "McCartney 3 Imagined" (took Andy a while to get into this), continue ATMP 50th discussion, the recent Get Back rumor posted by Tony Bramwell. As well as a discussion on box set overkill in recent years/over-saturation of Beatles product.

Episode 137: Live At The Cavern Club: A Review

Quick and short this week folks! 
Tom & Andy continue a film/DVD review from the McCartney series.  This week it's Live At The Cavern Club released in 2001 but originally premiered live in December of 1999 on Direct TV.  
As we point out this period represents a small but memorable time in McCartney's career.  His first official performance back at the Cavern since the final Beatles performance on 3 August 1963.  
Andy gives an overview of the current Cavern Club and his experiences at the venue during his time in Liverpool and how the current club is laid out compared to the original on Mathew Street.  
The DVD itself runs short. Just a 45 minute concert - all featuring tracks from the then recently released "Run Devil Run" and features the same musicians assembled for the album. (Dave Gilmour/Ian Paice/Mick Green/Pete Wingfield/Chris Hall).  Tom gives an overview of the bonus features (2 interviews and music videos for 'No Other Baby' and 'Brown Eyed Handsome Man' which would not be made available again until the release of "The McCartney Years" (2007).

Episode 136: "Rockers!"

This week on 2Legs Tom and Andy welcome Scott O'Rourke a DJ on WUSB in Long Island, NY (https://wusb.fm/) and their discussion centers on their favorite "rocking" Paul numbers.  
Our kid tends to get labeled as an old softie but in this installment of 2Legs these 3 pick out their 10 favorite heavier rockier Macca songs and the choices are on par!  And no doubt prove that Paul was and will always be a rocker at heart.  
We had a few similar choices, ones you likely would expect and some odd ball choices too!

Episode 134: Compilations!

Welcome back!
Our first show of July centers around the 4 Paul/Wings Compilations that are on the market.  Starting with Wings Greatest in 1978, All The Best! in 1987 (two different configurations for US and UK audiences), Wingspan in 2001 and lastly Pure McCartney in 2016.
Tom and Andy discuss the what ifs on all of these, how they were marketed at the time and which one stands the best of time.  Funny to think that with all of Paul McCartney's music there are only 4 official compilations.  Some artists have more comps than actual albums!
