Episode 187: ”Year In Review”: 1980 (w/Madinger & Easter)
Saturday Nov 26, 2022
Saturday Nov 26, 2022
A special episode & a very significant year for Paul. 1980. This week on 2 Legs we invited Chip Madinger (Lennonology) and Mark Easter who co-authored "Eight Arms To Hold You" back on the show for another "Year In Review" episode. 1980 starts and obviously ends terribly for Paul.
But throughout the year he collected a Grammy, had a US #1 Single, and #1 UK album, and planned on forging ahead with Wings even after Japan in January. We added some vintage news clips and a music video in between our discussions this week. We hope you enjoy them.
Please visit Lennonology if you're interested in picking up a PDF revision of "Eight Arms" and Chips epic work on Lennon's solo career he worked on with Scott Raile. We hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving (if you celebrate) and we're 'Getting Closer' to the 7" Inch Box release!

Episode 186: ”Put It There” (Documentary) A Look Back
Saturday Nov 19, 2022
Saturday Nov 19, 2022
Hey Gang, We're back with a brand new episode. This week we went back to the Documentary/Film/Concert review series that we've done in the past. (Red Square, Broad Street, Space Within Us) but this time we opted to view and discuss the 1989 Doc Put It There.
The film chronicles Paul's then newly assembled band of Hamish Stuart (Average White Band), Robbie McIntosh (Pretenders), Paul "Wix" Wickens, and Chris Witten (Dire Straits) and of course Linda preparing for the upcoming World Tour that took place between September 1989 to July 1990. Paul mostly discusses about rehearsing the band with the new material from Flowers In The Dirt. Paul also occasionally dives into the tracks on the album. The documentary was directed by longtime McCartney film collaborator Geoff Wonfor and Paul was interviewed by Tracy McLeod.
One of the better documentaries in Paul's career we both felt. You? Be Well, Tom & Andy

Episode 185:”Top 5 Moments”
Saturday Oct 29, 2022
Saturday Oct 29, 2022
Hi all!
This week on 2Legs we welcome Tony from "Beatley Tone's Beatles Channel", a fellow YouTuber who joined the community a year ago or so. Tony has been an ardent supporter of 2Legs, and has created some excellent videos on his channel, specifically the deep dives into the McCartney Archive Series which launched in 2010.
For this show, Tony, Andy and Tom chose 5 moments from Paul's career that we felt he "got right." That could be an album, a relationship, a song, anything really related to his career.
We kicked around some good topics and we hope you agree with some of our choice. What are some others? Let us know!

Episode 184: ”The Live Albums” (Part 2)
Saturday Oct 22, 2022
Saturday Oct 22, 2022
Hi 2Legs Faithful!
We tackled the live albums back in 2016 when David Gargalino was a co-host but not since Andy joined 2Legs. This week we discuss the main canon live albums, Wings Over America, Tripping The Live Fantastic, Paul Is Live, Back In The US/World, and Good Evening New York City. We discuss the other alternative live albums and almost live albums that were and should be. We put them into context for where Macca was at the time as well and what their legacy if any has as time marches on.
Be Well, Tom and Andy

Episode 183: ”The 1974 Rolling Stone Interview”
Saturday Oct 15, 2022
Saturday Oct 15, 2022
Another dive into a McCartney interview from the past. This time we tackle the January 1974 Rolling Stone Interview. The first time Paul was their subject interviewee and on the cover as a solo artist. Fresh off the heels of the recently released "Band On The Run", Paul is interviewed by music critic Paul Gambaccini. Tom and Andy scope out the best bits and analyse them.
For your convenience the link to the full interview is below as featured on the excellent Paul McCartney Project website.

Episode 182:”Macca A to Z”
Saturday Oct 08, 2022
Saturday Oct 08, 2022
First original show for October! Happy Fall 2Legs fans.
For this week Tom and Andy tackle a fun one. Choosing their favourite Macca songs from A to Z. There is no "X" (unless you hardcore Macca fans know an unreleased "X" track we may have missed).
We included one or two ourselves. As well as honourable mentions. What's your Macca A to Z? Tell us in the comments.
Tom & Andy
