Episode 183: ”The 1974 Rolling Stone Interview”
Saturday Oct 15, 2022
Saturday Oct 15, 2022
Another dive into a McCartney interview from the past. This time we tackle the January 1974 Rolling Stone Interview. The first time Paul was their subject interviewee and on the cover as a solo artist. Fresh off the heels of the recently released "Band On The Run", Paul is interviewed by music critic Paul Gambaccini. Tom and Andy scope out the best bits and analyse them.
For your convenience the link to the full interview is below as featured on the excellent Paul McCartney Project website.

First original show for October! Happy Fall 2Legs fans.
For this week Tom and Andy tackle a fun one. Choosing their favourite Macca songs from A to Z. There is no "X" (unless you hardcore Macca fans know an unreleased "X" track we may have missed).
We included one or two ourselves. As well as honourable mentions. What's your Macca A to Z? Tell us in the comments.

Saturday Sep 24, 2022
This is going to be a fun one folks!
This is mainly directed for our YouTube audience so if you're an audio only listener we encourage you to check out the video version of Episode 181.
Artist Jeff Cummins joins Tom and Andy on 2Legs this week. Jeff previously was on an audio only-Pre-YouTube era version of 2Legs in February 2019.
Jeff is a much celebrated graphic artist who painted the famous inner sleeve of Wings Over America, the artwork for the 'Temporary Secretary', Say, Say, Say ' and 'This One' singles.
Jeff also has done a ton of work for other artists including Yes, Jon Anderson, Rick Wakeman and the Moody Blues. (Andy's a happy camper lol). He has also done work for the Doctor Who series.
His new book "The Invisible Artist" is available through his website here: https://jeffcummins.wixsite.com/jeff
We throughly enjoyed this lively and funny chat with Jeff (Despite Andy's allergies) and we hope you do to. Till next time Tom and Andy

This week on 2Legs we dive into that fantasy again. Joining Tom this week (Andy joins at the end) is Tim aka "Judge Timbers" on YouTube.
Tim is a self taught musician and follower of our show and kindly ranked our show as one of his favourite podcasts. Please give his channel a like and sub please. He has been on YouTube for quite a number of years and have a lot of content and educational videos on how to play guitar. He's also a big Tom Petty fan!

Episode 179: The 1984 Playboy Interview
Saturday Sep 10, 2022
Saturday Sep 10, 2022
In the December 1984 issue of Playboy, Paul and Linda gave a very frank interview to Joan Goodman, and the questions centered on John Lennon naturally, but also Wings.
This week on 2Legs, Tom and Andy scan the interview transcript and discuss the juicy bits. A side of Paul (especially Linda in this interview) that we rarely saw ever publicly.
Here's the full text of the interview if you're interested! 1984 Playboy Interview

Episode 178: John Blaney (Part 2)
Saturday Aug 27, 2022
Saturday Aug 27, 2022
Very happy to have John Blaney (Author, The Songs He Was Singing, We All Shine On, Soul Man again this week on 2Legs.
John was first on 2Legs back in 2019. John tells us about his roots, working in record shops and even had chance encounters with George and Macca!
He explains why he felt the need books on discographies that just focused on solo careers was needed. At the time of publishing of his first book The Songs He Was Singing there was no single dedicated text to just McCartney solo's career. He followed this up 2 years later with one on Lennon. He later expanded the McCartney book into a series of 4 volumes and then later authoring 2 books on George.
We were very happy to have John on again and he showed off some true rare memorabilia. We were a bit jealous! Thanks John!

Episode 177: ”Beatles Documentaries” (Recorded at Chicago Fest)
Saturday Aug 20, 2022
Saturday Aug 20, 2022
A special one this week. Our first ever crossover episode with two other excellent podcasts/videocasts.
This week, Andy is joined by Kit O'Toole (Author, Lecturer, Podcaster,) and co-host of Talk More Talk: A Solo Beatles Videocast and Ed Chen (Co-Host) of When They Was Fab podcast. The three amigos were all at the Chicago Fest and decided to record one together. We recorded this on Saturday 8/13/22.
Our panel was chosen for the Fest to represent Beatles-related podcasters. (Yes, I wish it could've been all about Paul but concessions had to be made!) We discussed the evolution of Beatles documentaries bookended by Let It Be (1970) and Get Back (2021) and various documentaries (official and otherwise) that fall between this time period. Specifically, the conversation centers around what documentary each co-host found as they started or began their musical discovery of The Beatles.
Missing the other leg Tom on this one but in 2023 the 2Legs will be at both fests to record and go live (hopefully).
Thank you Kit and Ed,
